Finca El Carpintero stands superbly isolated on the west side of the Gredos Mountains , a marvellous hidden place in the Jerte valley . The 150 year old farm has carefully restored .

It's a very quiet place to relax , with only eight rooms. The different buildings rest in a labyrinth of different levels.

There is a huge sitting room with a log fire in winter, with two levels and an enormous window that lets the light come streaming in.

Breakfast and meals are taken in the glass gallery, enjoying the fantastic views of the hills. The meals includes delicious local dishes, and follow the seasons.

A wonderful place to stay for those in search of perfect peace , and to discover a fabulous birdflife in this area of Spain.

In spring you can see the blossom of thousand cherry trees turning the green side of the valley in a stunning white.
